My Suicide Letters: Hope for the Hurting, Alicia Joseph opens the door to one of the most vulnerable and urgent conversations of our time: emotional pain, silent suffering, and the courage to keep going. Through raw letters, personal reflections, and biblical encouragement, this book captures the inner war of those who smile publicly but are silently breaking. More than just a book it’s a lifeline.
Whether you’ve battled suicidal thoughts, are supporting someone who is, or simply trying to understand your own pain, Alicia’s words provide truth, grace, and practical steps toward healing. From chapters like “Alone in a Full Room” to “Inviting God into the Plan,” this book brings light into the darkest moments and reminds you that you are not alone, and your life still has purpose.
This book is for:

- Readers who feel invisible in their pain

Abuse is never ok!
Because of guilt and shame, I kept my story of domestic abuse and sexual trauma silent for over 30 years because of guilt and shame. I decided to write this book because of other women who may feel the same as I did. My intent is to let women know that they do not have to remain broken. In this book, I share some of my deepest and darkest secrets to help other women not only survive but to overcome the feelings of insecurity which keep them trapped in the abusive relationship. You become beautiful when you are healed from the inside out and you no longer allow the past abuse or insecurities to define who you are.
Yes it is difficult to leave, but it is possible!

For years, Alicia Joseph wore smiles like armor and silence like safety. Behind the mask lived deep wounds unforgiveness, fear, guilt, and the belief that her past disqualified her from God’s promises. But when she stopped hiding and allowed God to redeem her scars, she discovered a greater truth: healing isn’t about perfection it’s about purpose. In Healed, But Not Hiding, Alicia shares her raw, faith-filled journey of moving from trauma to triumph. Through honest storytelling, biblical truth, and practical encouragement, she guides readers to:
-
Release the heavy weight of unforgiveness and shame.
-
Replace fear with faith and courage.
-
Confront lies with God’s truth about worth and identity.
-
Draw near to God after disappointment and doubt.
-
Embrace purpose over perfection and finally own your voice.
-
Transform personal pain into hope that empowers others.
This is not a highlight reel it’s a roadmap for every woman who has ever sat in church feeling disqualified, served others while silently bleeding inside, or believed her story was too broken to matter. If you’re ready to stop hiding, reclaim your voice, and live boldly in the purpose God designed for you, this book will remind you. You may be bruised, but you are not broken. You may have hidden, but now it’s your time to shine.

"It is never too late to fulfill your purpose."
